WTS

Orange Table Talk is a FREE, virtual members-only event. The Panel Discussion will be hosted over Zoom starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23. Marsha Nelson, with CDOT, will be leading a discussion with panelists Collina Washington-Beard (Chief Business Officer at Eugene School District 4J and former Director of Mobility, Planning & Policy at Lane Transit District) and Gloria J. Jeff, AICP (Livability Director, Minnesota DOT Metro District). These amazing women are national leaders in the transportation equity space and plan to have a very open and honest discussion on equity in transportation from organizational, governmental, individual and planning perspectives.

If virtual events aren't really your thing, the CO WTS DEI & Young Professionals committees have partnered to host an in-person watch party at 1001 17th Street in Denver. This watch party will feature free snacks, and social time with Marsha Nelson, Celina Milner-Leon and other CDOT staff before and after the event.

The watch party will now be located in downtown Denver at 1001 17th Street in the first floor Aspen/Birch conference rooms. Entrance to the rooms can be accessed from the 17th Street lobby. Vehicle parking is available in the underground garage (entrance on Curtis Street). After 5 p.m., the rate is $5 per 12 minutes. Bike parking is available inside the meeting room. The office building is also accessible via bus and light rail.

Whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually, please RSVP by 5 p.m. on April 22 and indicate if you plan to attend in-person so we have enough snacks.

We hope to see you there!
