Lauren Nuxoll, P.E., PTOE is a senior engineer at Kittelson & Associates and serves as Chair of the Idaho Infrastructure Report Card and a chapter author. An Idaho native and Boise State University civil engineering graduate, her work focuses on traffic design and operations, transportation impact studies, and signal timing and concept design. She has worked on several high-profile projects in the Treasure Valley and across Idaho and Montana, supporting complex multimodal and operational transportation challenges.
Lauren currently serves as an ASCE Region 8 Governor and on several boards, including the BSU College of Civil Engineering Advisory Board, the Future City Idaho Steering Committee, and Treasure Valley Sports League.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing soccer, basketball, contact flag football, and softball. Lauren is married to an Air Force F-15E fighter jet pilot and has a two-year-old and one-year-old. In 2024, her husband was reassigned to Hill Air Force Base in Utah, where Lauren continues to regularly visit the Treasure Valley and support Idaho’s transportation challenges.
Dave Sherman, P.E. is a Senior Vice President at WSP USA in Boise, and is responsible for WSP’s transportation related business in Idaho and Montana. Dave, in partnership with Lucas Marsh, was co-author of the bridge chapter of the Idaho Infrastructure Report Card. Dave is an Idaho native, a Mountain Home Tiger, Idaho Vandal, and Adjunct Faculty in the College of Engineering at Boise State University. Dave’s work focuses on business development in the transportation sector, and Dave is an experienced designer in Aviation, Land Development, and Transportation projects across the country.
Dave currently serves as the President Elect for Idaho ACEC, serves on the Idaho Delegation and Transportation Committee for PNWER, recently chaired the BSU College of Civil Engineering Advisory Board, and manages WSPs VEP Partnership with Boise State College of Engineering.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys DIY projects, cooking, golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Dave’s wife, Emily, is a higher-ed professional employed by the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy. They share a 2-year old daughter, Rory, and 4-year old son, Clayton.
