Meet our Panelists
Rommany Chanthavong is an entrepreneur and business leader with 15+ years of experience in logistics, operations, and financial services. She is the co‑owner of several growing businesses in Hampton Roads, including The Back Nine Golf and JORO Logistics, and is active in civic and community organizations.
Dainan Long is a Hampton Roads business leader and founder of the Coastal Virginia Business Exchange Group, fostering collaboration across military, federal, and municipal sectors. Her leadership has been recognized with the CREW Member in Excellence Award and as a Top 50 Women Leaders in Virginia in 2023 and 2024.
Quan McLaurin is the Civil Rights & Community Engagement Liaison for the HRPDC and HRTPO, bringing more than a decade of experience advancing equitable practices in transportation and regional planning. He recently led public engagement efforts for the region’s first‑ever Climate Action Plan.
Elijah Ramsey serves as Civil Rights Manager for VDOT’s Hampton Roads District and brings over 25 years of federal EEO leadership experience, including service as EEO Director for U.S. Fleet Forces Command.
