Uniqueka Walcott, CPSM is a speaker, leader and writer who has a passion for celebrating the gifts and talents of others through storytelling. Her career spans retail, mortgage, and the a/e/c industries. She hosts and produces the Career Conversations podcast featuring guests engaged in a plethora of professions. This living library is as a space for inspiration and connections for people discovering the possibilities for what they want to do when they grow up. Uniqueka is personal branding powerhouse who has been featured in the Baltimore Sun and several industry publications. She has a B.A. in journalism from Georgia State University.

Melinda Colón brings 20 years of results-driven marketing experience. In 2017, she founded FortisOBM, a thriving women/minority-owned business enterprise (WMBE) serving the built industry with branding, proposal development, and digital marketing services. Since launching, she has managed hundreds of proposals and presentations for multi-million and-billion-dollar projects for Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) companies. Melinda co-hosts a podcast, Fortis Baseline, offering insider insights to the world of AEC and CRE marketing. She also launched Thrive Build to offer training and coaching to recent graduates entering the marketing field. She hopes Thrive Build will bring more marketers into the built industry and accelerate their skill development and ability to get results.

Maisha Christian is the owner and head coach at Beauty & the Boss, a professional development and career coaching service that helps women strategically position themselves for promotion or career growth. Since starting her coaching practice in 2018 she has helped hundreds of women through individualized coaching, public talks, workshops and digital content. Prior to starting Beauty & the Boss, Maisha spent 15+ years in the construction industry as a professional services marketer, Director and member of an executive leadership team. She is a member of the National Speakers Association-Arizona and Society for Marketing Professional Services where she serves on the Diversity & Inclusion Task Force; and the current Mentorship Director for Women’s Transportation Seminar’s (WTS) Phoenix Chapter. Maisha has a passion for people, a mind for business and a gift to teach and she’s excited to be here with us today.
