ALL ABOARD: Amtrak’s 30th Street Station Transformation
A large-scale restoration and renovation project is underway at 30th Street Station to enhance the station’s functionality and improve the customer experience. The project will modernize and renovate nearly 500,000 sf of space, improve the Market Street Plaza, expand retail offerings, and provide other benefits to the local community, while maintaining the historic integrity of the station. This project is the second phase of station renovation following Amtrak’s recent façade cleaning and restoration efforts and it is the first phase of the Philadelphia 30th Street Station District Plan.
