This month we are celebrating all Women! Join us Wednesday, March 23rd for a luncheon featuring two speakers who have literally climbed the ladder to success.

Rema McManus is currently an Offshore Wind Program Specialist at Old Dominion University-Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography. She is responsible for maintaining ongoing projects. Rema has more than six-years of experience in administration and communications focusing on engineering and technology start-ups, in addition to more than three years of offshore wind experience. Most notably, Rema is the first ODU employee to obtain Global Wind Organization Certification.

Tonya Byrd received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University and obtained an MBA from The George Washington University in Management of Science, Technology and Innovation. She has been with Dominion Energy for 29 years, and among her many titles, Tonya has served as a Senior Nuclear Training Instructor at Surry Power Station and most recently was named Director of Community Engagement and Local Affairs for Dominion Energy.

Registration and networking starts at 11:30am and the program begins at 12 noon in the Elizabeth Room.
