2023 WTS Central Region Conference: Our Time is Now

The WTS Central Region Conference will bring together transportation leaders and professionals throughout the Midwest WTS community and beyond. The conference will take place in Chicago from Sunday, September 17th through Tuesday, September 19th.
The conference theme “Our Time is Now” seeks to explore how our unique time presents opportunities to create positive change, leverage existing resources, and transform perspectives. Sessions will explore how "Now is the Time" to:
- Transform our industry and our infrastructure with historic levels of federal funding
- Advance women in the workforce, as we are represented now more than ever
- Create win-win policies that address climate change
- Create more opportunities for career development and advance changing workplace policies
- Incorporate new and emerging mobility solutions and technologies
- Integrate infrastructure decision-making across sectors
- Expand the reach of transportation projects to address equity issues and improve communities and lives
