Scholarships

WTS – NH 2026 Scholarship Applications are CLOSED. 

 

 

Eligibility of the WTS-NH Undergraduate scholarship includes:

  • Students currently enrolled in a NH High School or college; and students who graduated from a NH High School in the past year.
  • Students studying science, technology, engineering, math or other sustainability related majors. 
  • Students considering a career in a transportation- or sustainability-related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Sarah Frye

Sarah graduated from Nashua HS North in 2026 and will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the fall. She plans to study Civil Engineering and wants to help create better infrastructure for the world when she graduates. Sarah was an active member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society and participated in numerous sports including Track and Soccer.

Teresa Mathew

Teresa graduated from Nashua HS South in 2026 and intends to study Mechanical Engineering in college. Teresa was the State President of the New Hampshire Technology Student Association and led a STEM conference for over 500 students. Teresa also participated in varsity swimming, and placed in the State Championships in 2025 and 2026. Teresa did research at the UNH Hollen Lab in 2025 and assisted graduate students with their research.

Fiona Millan

Fiona is currently a student at Harvard College and expected to graduate in 2029. She is studying Computer Science and Philosophy and History of Science. Her goal is to pursue a career in transportation research and engineering, developing infrastructure and technologies that make mobility more efficient and equitable. Fiona also participates in organizations focused on STEM education such as Girls Who Code and Girls in STEM, where she volunteers to teach computer science workshops to elementary, middle and high school students.
