Scholarships

WTS – NH 2025 Scholarship Applications are now closed. 

 

Eligibility of the WTS-NH Undergraduate scholarship includes:

  • Students currently enrolled in a NH High School or college; and students who graduated from a NH High School in the past year.
  • Students studying science, technology, engineering, math or other sustainability related majors. 
  • Students considering a career in a transportation- or sustainability-related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Sree Vaishnavi Bachiraju

Sree is currently a senior at Nashua High School South. She is an active member in her community, volunteering at the soup kitchen and Volunteering for Seniors. Sree will be attending Cornell University to study Computer Science. She hopes to use her Computer Science degree to further develop collision avoidance systems to help prevent vehicle accidents.

Sophie Powers

Sophie is currently a senior at Gilford High School. She is involved in numerous activities at school, including National Honor Society, Volleyball and Spanish Club. Her teacher speaks highly of her innovative ideas and critical thinking skills. Sophie has dreams of becoming a female pilot and is currently taking flying lessons. She hopes to study Aeronautics in college.

Eden Gray

Eden is currently a first-year student at Dartmouth College studying Engineering Design with a minor in Spanish. She has a deep appreciation for the natural world, fueled by her Michigan roots. Eden aspires to develop sustainable transportation solutions that serve people efficiently and also integrates and respects the environment. She hopes to design transportation solutions that encourage interaction with the environment rather than isolating people from it.
