Webinar Series
The Central VA Chapter of the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) will be hosting FREE webinar panel events throughout the 2023-2024 school calendar. These webinars are catered to women in grades 6-12, but all interested attendees are welcome to participate. The focus of this webinar series is to highlight a project or person within the Commonwealth of Virginia, or offer resources to students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math).
Each webinar will be held from 4:00 - 5:00 PM (EST) via our Zoom virtual platform, unless otherwise stated.

NASA KIDS' CLUB
NASA provides a safe place for children to play games as they learn about NASA and its missions. NASA encourages you to visit NASA Kids' Club and use its games and activities to inspire the next generation. On this site, you will find games of various skill levels for children pre-K through grade 4. These games support national education standards in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Fall Star Party Public Night

Join the Staunton River State Park is hosting for a public viewing night during the Fall Staunton River Star Party. Visitors will be parked at the Dan River boat ramp and bussed to the Observation Field; this lowers the impact of white light on your night vision. Meet our astronomers on the Observation Field to learn all about the dark skies of Staunton River State Park. You'll be amazed to see what you've been missing in the night sky!
