In September, the I-95 Central Access Philadelphia (CAP) project broke ground at the Great Plaza Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. The ceremony marked a milestone for the transformational project that will reconnect the city with the Delaware River waterfront. This project is one of the largest in Pennoni history and will create a new pedestrian bridge and an 11.5-acre public space that includes gardens, an amphitheater, a play area, a cafe and more.

Pennoni is the design team project manager for the PennDOT I-95 CAP project and the concurrent DRWC Park Amenities contract. We have coordinated nearly 50 stakeholders, interest groups, and governmental agencies to gather consensus and support for the project. Additionally, we teamed with 20+ subconsultants and partner firms. Pennoni’s services include:
