Promatech, Inc. has been a long-time supporter of WTS-Philadelphia. We are a Project Management firm, specializing in construction phase services, including construction inspection. We are known for successfully managing projects from conceptual design to post-construction, developing the project’s organization structure and schedule, assigning responsibilities and resources, developing procedures, document control and records management, defining lines of communication, and utilizing leading-edge project management systems. Additionally, Promatech offers these value-added services; MWBE Compliance Monitoring, DBE Supportive Services, and Public Outreach. Locally, Promatech is working for clients and projects you may be familiar with. We’re currently working on the City of Philadelphia’s Rebuild program providing EOP Monitoring Services. Promatech is providing DBE & Workforce Participation Outreach, Minority Workforce Reports, and M/WBE Contracting goals for playground and recreation center projects associated with the Rebuild Initiative. Responsibilities include attendance at biweekly construction progress meetings; performing weekly site visits to visually verify the minority and female workforce participation; analyzing construction workforce and contract data to assess compliance with participation goals for minority and women workers and businesses; assisting Contractors in finding qualified M/WBE firms to perform various trades; and producing monthly reports to verify trends and identify risks. Our newest site is Kingsessing Library, which had a Groundbreaking Ceremony on 3/16.
Promatech is also providing construction management, project controls, and scheduling services for the School District of Philadelphia’s Capital Program. We are currently providing Construction Management for the Solis-Cohen Elementary School, a new $58M 140,000sf two story facility in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities include providing oversight of construction activities, managing project schedule, RFIs, submittal processing, daily reports, and construction progress meetings. Promatech developed and implemented COVID-19 protocols for on-site workers to ensure health and safety.
