Unlocking Potential: WTS-DC Hosts Signature Strengths Workshop
By Lindsey Robertson Lentz, Professional Development Committee, WTS-DC
On May 1, the WTS-DC Chapter's Professional Development Committee hosted the Signature
Strengths Workshop, an engaging session designed to help participants uncover and harness
their unique talents through the CliftonStrengths assessment.
Facilitated by Lindsey Robertson Lentz, Senior Principal at Evans Consulting, the workshop
guided attendees through a journey of self-discovery and professional growth. Participants
began by completing the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment— a tool that identifies an
individual's strengths from 34 distinct themes.
The session featured a comprehensive overview of the CliftonStrengths framework, helping
participants understand the science behind their results and how these strengths influence
performance, communication, and collaboration. Through interactive activities, attendees
explored how to apply their strengths in personal and professional settings, enhancing their
leadership skills and fostering more effective teamwork.
One of the workshop's highlights was the collaborative exercises, which encouraged
participants to recognize and appreciate the diverse strengths of others. These activities not
only deepened individual insights but also promoted a culture of mutual respect and synergy—
core values of the WTS-DC community.
