WTS-Boston is proud to announce that STV Incorporated (STV) has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Employer of the Year Award. This honor recognizes an organization that supports WTS through membership, sponsorship, and employee involvement; has a strong organizational structure with women in executive and senior positions leading key initiatives; is committed to advancing women in the transportation industry through established career development and succession programs, continued education programs, and professional development support; and provides valuable internship opportunities that encourage and support women entering the transportation field.

A proud supporter and longtime sponsor of WTS, STV demonstrates its commitment to advancing women in transportation through sustained engagement, leadership involvement, and professional development. Across the Boston and New England region, STV employees actively support WTS through chapter leadership, committee service, mentorship, and participation in signature leadership programs. These efforts are reinforced internally through structured career development programs, leadership training, and employee resource groups that promote visibility, confidence, and advancement for women throughout the firm.

Beyond individual advancement, STV reinforces its commitment through sustained, companywide programs. What began as a grassroots Women at STV effort in 2019 was formalized in 2021 as a WTS Employee Resource Group, evolved into the Women’s Network ERG in 2023, and is now the STV Women’s Network Community. Nearly 300 women participate in monthly calls that feature STV board and advisory leaders, WTS Signature Leadership program participants, Women’s History programming, intern spotlights, and nationally recognized speakers. These efforts are complemented by structured career development, leadership training, and mentorship programs that provide clear pathways for advancement.

In June 2022, STV became the first AEC firm to commit to the Equity in Infrastructure Project (EIP) Pledge, reinforcing its values with action and supporting diverse voices and leadership at every level of the organization. Through community engagement, professional advocacy, internships, and continued support of organizations like WTS, STV contributes to a stronger, more inclusive transportation industry and helps prepare the next generation of transportation leaders.

By combining local leadership, technical excellence, and a demonstrated commitment to equity and professional advancement, STV exemplifies the values recognized by WTS-Boston and is proud to be named Employer of the Year.
