The “Building Blocks to Greater Connection, How to Create Stronger Company, Client, and Community Relationships Through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)” series continued on October 3rd, with the session “How Industry Organizations are Implementing Employee Resource Groups.” During this event, industry experts dove deeper into ERGs with a panel discussion, during which they provided insight from their diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Our panelists included Caitlin Cavanagh, Water Resources Engineer at AECOM, Chuck Dennie, Electrical Practice Area Leader at Airport Design Consultants, Inc., Stacey Lennon, Deputy Chief Administration Officer at the City of Philadelphia, Department of Aviation, and Emmanuella Myrthil, Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at SEPTA. The conversation on ERGs was moderated by Brenna Schmidt, Employee Engagement Specialist at the City of Philadelphia, Mayor’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The informative discussion provided insight into implementing successful ERGs, in addition to challenges, benefits, and best practices.
