The WTS Iowa Awards & Recognition Committee is thrilled to launch our first Chapter scholarship dedicated to individuals interested in advancing the transportation industry.  This scholarship is a culmination of efforts by various WTS Iowa committees, WTS members and would not be possible without the generosity of our WTS Iowa Sponsors.   

This scholarship will provide a $500 Scholarship for a Sophomore or above attending college in Iowa during the Summer 2021 or Fall 2021 semester with plans to pursue a career in a transportation-related field (such as civil engineering, civil engineering technology, transportation engineering, planning, policy, finance or logistics).  The scholarship winner will be announced May 7, 2021 with the recipient receiving the Scholarship funds by May 14, 2021.  Funds may be used for college-related expenses and are not specifically tied to tuition or books.  The 2021 WTS Iowa College Scholarship recipient will be recognized at the 2021 Awards Ceremony later this year.
