September 29, 2023 - As today’s news of the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein is shared around the world, WTS International joins those who celebrate her decades of service to the United States and to her California constituency.

Feinstein shattered glass ceilings as the longest-serving woman in the Senate, as well as the longest-serving senator from California. Additionally, she was the first woman president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the first woman mayor of San Francisco.

Just four days ago, Feinstein announced $290 million dollars in USDOT grants awarded to California rail projects. Her influence in infrastructure and transportation policy, equal rights legislation, and the protection and advocation of women will be felt for generations to come.
