Moving the Needle on Gender Equity
On Thursday, November 11th, our Lehigh Valley Annex hosted this virtual presentation, featuring Mimi Raygorodetsky, Principal & Vice President at Langan. She is a founding member and current chair of Women@Langan, and is also a founding member of Langan’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Mimi presented on statistics regarding gender in STEM fields, as well as the fundamental hurdles and challenges around gender equity and the industry best practices for achieving it. She shared personal stories of the effects of gender equity in the STEM industry. Mimi also shared ways of what can be done to promote the knowledge and ideas to close the gap on gender equity in the work place.
Over 80 attendees tuned in to listen to the presentation that was followed by an engaging Q & A session. Our Lehigh Valley Annex is looking forward to offering future DE&I presentations!
