The LFAL summer series concluded in August with a hybrid panel titled "Building Blocks of Team Dynamics (Building Hybrid & Remote Teams)” hosted at STV’s offices on Market Street. Forty (40) people attended the event, 20 in-person and 20 virtually via Microsoft Teams. Lauren Swett, who leads teams across the country at Woodard & Curran, moderated the panel from her office in Maine, and Renee Autumn Ray, who’s worked remotely since before the pandemic from Hayden AI, joined from Florida! In the room were Christina Arlt, AICPCamille Tomlin; and Joelle Shea, who lead teams at McCormick Taylor, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), and Gannett Fleming, respectively. The panel came together to talk about the challenges and opportunities presented by remote and hybrid work, sharing insights on how to develop teams from afar, keep communication high, and adapt to different personalities and preferences when face-to-face interactions are minimized. It was a successful, first-of-its-kind event for WTS we hope to replicate in the future.
