APTA and WTS International Sign Continuation of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
On October 10th during their 2023 TRANSForm Conference in Orlando, FL; leaders from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and WTS International signed an extension of their existing formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ensuring the two organizations will continue to collaborate on mutual goals to better the transportation industry, including programming and leadership initiatives within the sector, supporting a diverse next generation of a transit workforce, and collaborating on transportation advocacy.
APTA is one of a group of other WTS standing MOUs within the transportation industry, notably the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), the Eno Center for Transportation (Eno), Latinos In Transit (LIT), and the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
