Wendy Scott, CAE, has served as Executive Director/CEO, consultant, and trainer of Boards of Directors and staff for over 35 years. As Founder and President of Wendy Scott & Associates, Inc., established in 1987, Wendy leads and advises associations and social mission nonprofits throughout the U.S. and internationally. She previously provided strategic planning and consulting for WTS International in 2016.

Wendy is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker and has held the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential for 26 years. She is a speaker at state and national conferences, including the American Society of Association Executives, the Canadian Society of Association Executives, and the California, Florida, New England, North Carolina, and South Carolina state and regional societies of association executives.

Wendy has also supported strategic planning and capacity development projects in Honduras, Peru, Egypt, Montenegro, Kosovo, Mexico, and other countries. She also provides leadership training and hosts delegations from Belarus, Timor, Ukraine, Russia, and other post-Soviet states.

Wendy resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with additional remote offices in Florida and Connecticut. Her favorite activities include music and the performing arts, spending time with her family, and keeping in touch with both childhood and college friends.
