WTS St. Louis DEI Discussion Series goals:

1. Provide guided discussions that are growth-oriented and will share meeting norms for attendees on the important of a safe space.

2. Expand our discussions and focus to include and better support minorities and people of color in our industry.

3. Bring members and friends of members together monthly for guided discussions and networking.

WTS St. Louis DEI Discussion run-of-show:

The discussion series is booked at the MoDOT District office in Conference Room 160. Doors will open at 11am. The local WTS chapter will say something brief at 11:30 and then hand things over to the speaker. The invited speaker will share and facilitate the discussion till around 12:30pm. The room needs to be closed down by 1pm. We have provided 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the discuss for networking, eat lunch, and the opportunity to process the discussion.

Guest Speakers Include: 

Lianne Reizer – Former Owner of All America Transportation, Inc. and Founder of Petro Logistics, LLC

Lianne Reizer has been an entrepreneur since 1996, when she acquired All America Transportation Inc. All America Transportation specializes in truckload freight management services throughout the 48 states.

In 2012, Lianne started a second company, Petro Logistics, LLC.  Petro Logistics, LLC is DBE/WBE Certified and provides quality liquid asphalt products to asphalt producers for Federal, State, and Local heavy highway construction projects.  With trucks based in both St Louis and Kansas City, they service clients in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, and Kansas. 

At the end of 2021, Lianne sold her freight brokerage business to her long-time minority shareholder and partner.  She also sold Petro Logistics to Elle Meitl and has remained with the company since then.  Lianne credits honesty, intense determination and a thirst for knowledge as contributing factors to her success while excelling at solving problems and cultivating key relationships with clients.

In the past, Lianne volunteered with the Women’s Business Development Center of Chicago, serving on several committees and mentoring other women business owners.  She also enjoys weight training, boating, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs.

Elle Meitl – Owner of Petro Logistics, LLC

Elle is a professional engineer, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2015. After 4 years of working as a steel design engineer in Denver Colorado, she moved home to Saint Louis and into project management of bulk petroleum storage facilities, specifically liquid asphalt.

In 2021, Elle met Lianne by happenstance and the two hit it off instantly. Lianne sold Petro Logistics to Elle and the two have been working side by side in growing the company from 14 trucks to 20 trucks and drivers.

Elle is an active member in the Women of Asphalt Missouri Branch, Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association (MAPA) and a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Elle is a licensed Private Pilot and in her free time enjoys playing with her dog, Mac, scuba diving, hiking and riding her gravel bike.
