The WTS St. Louis “All About Belonging” – A discussion series to create a more inclusive industry is intended to be our local transportation industry’s opportunity to have guided discussions and learning on range of topics in the DEI space. We are bringing in speakers to start and facilitate these hour-long discussions to create the safe space for us all to learn and grow together.
WTS St. Louis ‘All About Belonging’ series– March 14th first meeting:
Our St. Louis board is beyond excited to get this work started and announce that from 11:30-12:30pm our first speaker will be Cheryl Milton Roberts, MoDOT’s Senior Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. Cheryl will be kicking off our series and sharing more on what is DEI, why is it important, what role do we all play, and share some level setting language. Tom Blair will also add some introductory remarks on the importance of this work, discussion series, and why belonging is needed in our industry.

WTS St. Louis ‘All About Belonging’ run-of-show:
The discussion series is booked at the MoDOT District office in Conference Room 160. Doors will open at 11am. The local WTS chapter will say something brief at 11:30 and then hand things over to the speaker. The invited speaker will share and facilitate the discussion till around 12:30pm. The room needs to be closed down by 1pm. We have provided 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the discuss for networking, eat lunch, and the opportunity to process the discussion.
WTS St. Louis ‘All About Belonging’ lunch options:
All are welcome to bring a lunch to eat during the series. We are offering another option for attendees to order and pay for a lunch through Jimmy Johns and it will be delivered to MoDOT.

Most future meetings will be on the second Tuesday of each month from 11-1pm at the MoDOT district office, unless stated otherwise. The following is a list of future meetings:
