Please join WTS for our next Lunch and Learn meeting, which will include a discussion of the transportation funding options being discussed during this year’s Idaho Legislative Session at the State Capital Building.
We are very fortunate to have two of our WTS members present on this topic, both of whom are dealing with this topic every day during the Legislative session. Our speakers will be Mollie McCarty and Laila Kral.
Mollie McCarty is the Manager of the Office of Governmental Affairs at the Idaho Transportation Department and works with the Legislature year around, but on a daily basis during the session. Laila Kral is the Deputy Administrator at Local Highway Technical Assistance Council and also deals with the legislative process during the session every year. Both Mollie and Laila will give us a briefing on what is being discussed, and where those various proposals are in the legislative process.
