Join WTS-KC and KDOT Deputy Secretary, Lindsey Douglas, over the lunch hour to hear about a hot topic in Kansas: The U.S. 69 Corridor Modernization and Expansion Project. The project, also known as 69 Express, will create the first single lane toll road in Kansas.

KDOT Deputy Secretary, Lindsey Douglas, has represented both the public and private sectors at the Kansas Legislature for 13 years. In an earlier engagement at KDOT beginning in 2016, she served as the Legislative Liaison for KDOT working on the passage of T-WORKS, and then as the Chief of the Office of Governmental and External Affairs.

Before rejoining KDOT in 2019, she was the Senior Director of Public Affairs for Union Pacific Railroad in Kansas, Missouri and Arizona. Douglas is a graduate of Vermont Law School, where she earned a Master of Studies degree in Environmental Law, and Washburn University, earning a Bachelor of Public Administration degree. In her role as Deputy Secretary, Douglas manages the divisions of Aviation, Policy and Fiscal and Asset Management.
