Come join the Kansas City Chapters of WTS and APWA to learn about Bill's journey to becoming City Manager. Bill’s program will focus on his servant leadership philosophy throughout his career in the military and municipal government.

Bill Ebel is the City Manager of the City of Overland Park, KS. Prior to becoming City Manager, he served as Director of Planning and Development Services, as well as Deputy Director and City Engineer in the Public Works Department. Before his career with Overland Park, Bill Ebel retired from the United States Army after more than 21 years of service. He is a West Point graduate and has a master’s degree in public administration from Stanford University. Bill was named one of the 2021 National Top Ten Leaders of the Year by the American Public Works Association (APWA).

This event will be a hybrid event, with 50 seats available for in-person attendees. Those attending in-person will have the option to select a box lunch. Those participating virtually should access the event using the Zoom link below. All participants will be required to register.
