Join WTS HRC for a walking tour of the Virginia Beach ViBe District

About this event

Strategies for establishing, cultivating, and maintaining a successful arts district through challenges like roadway construction... Virginia Beach has come up with some clever ways to do it. A walking tour will point out the crosswalks and public art, and show how public/private partnerships and incentives were used to achieve urban redevelopment. The discussion will also cover the incorporation of art into infrastructure and how you create beauty in leftover spaces.

The walking tour will be led by City Urban Planner Emily Archer and ViBe Executive Director Kate Pittman.
