The Commonwealth of Virginia is making thoughtful and progressive steps to improve all modes of transportation with an emphasis on resilience, equity, and safety for all users, including cyclists and pedestrians. In addition, the volume of additional public funding and projects with the size of the current workforce contribute significant challenges for meeting the needs of the transportation industry in the Commonwealth. During this interactive panel discussion by Director Jennifer DeBruhl, AICP, PMP: Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, Commissioner Stephen Brich, PE: Virginia Department of Transportation, and Executive Director DJ Stadtler: Virginia Passenger Rail Authority, will discuss how they keep "Transporting Change" for all modes of transportation throughout the Commonwealth.
