WTS Workshops & Webinars
WTS International strives to provide opportunities for both professional and personal advancement and development for both members and non-members of our organization. Our workshops and webinars, offered at a discounted rate for WTS members, feature industry experts from all levels and fields of transportation to discuss growth, allyship, corporate responsibility, environmental justice, the future of transportation technology, and so much more. Make sure to register and save the date for our upcoming workshops and webinars from transportation thought leaders. These sessions are eligible for CM credits from APA.
WTS Distinguished Speaker Series
The WTS International Distinguished Speaker Series highlights the voices of top-level experts, speakers, authors, and academics, speaking on topics crucial to equity diversity, and access in transportation. WTS members, partners, and transportation stakeholders will learn about the history of travel, social justice, designing equitable infrastructure, gender-based policy and research, civil service, and much more.
WTS Connects: Member Meetups
WTS Connects is a program designed specifically for WTS Members to connect, learn, and discuss with each other around specific leadership content. The WTS Connects has two program options: WTS Connects for Members and WTS Connects for Executives. The hour-long sessions will include a presentation from renowned speakers and facilitators on topics like leadership, communicating your value, and power of micro-habits, followed by breakout groups for reflection and discussion.
WTS International Chair's Reception at TRB Annual Meeting
The WTS International Chair's Reception is held during the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. This year's reception was held on January 7, 2024 at Fig & Olive.
WTS Policy Symposium
WTS International gathers public, private, and non-profit leaders to discuss key decisions in transportation policymaking, affecting gender, equity, workforce development, and community engagement.
The 2024 WTS Policy Symposium was held March 7-8, 2024 in Washington, D.C.
WTS International Annual Conference
2024 WTS International Annual Conference, The Crescent City: Connecting Cultures, Connecting Communities will be held from May 8–10, 2024 in New Orleans, LA.
WTS Capital Summit
The WTS Capital Summit, a signature program of WTS Foundation's Transportation YOU program, offers students an opportunity to meet transportation industry thought leaders, government and administration officials, and college students beginning their own career journeys in the industry. The Summit brings high school-aged mentees and transportation professional mentors to the Washington, D.C. area for a 4-day summer program of tours, lectures, and interactive experiences showcasing careers in transportation. Students register to attend the Summit through WTS Chapters.
The 2024 Capital Summit will be held June 22-28, 2024.
WTS Signature Leadership Training
WTS International Signature Leadership Training prepares women to lead the future of the transportation industry by developing professionally and learning how to manage others effectively; for the advancement of the transportation industry as a whole and for those who use it.
2024 Signature Leadership Training will be held in Arlington, VA from October 7-12, 2024. More information will be available soon.
WTS Chapter Leadership Development
WTS Chapter Leadership Development is an annual program focusing on developing chapter-level volunteer talent. WTS Chapter leader participants do "deep dives" into WTS organizational processes; creating local and grassroots goals for the support of the mission and vision of the association, building personal relationships with fellow leaders from across North America, and strengthening the skills necessary to manage with confidence, purpose, and integrity.
