2012 Rosa Parks Award

2012 Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award

The Ohio Department of Transportation was awarded the Rosa Parks Award by WTS International for their internship program that promotes engineering careers to high school students. More than 95% of the interns were minorities.

Applications Available - 2013 WTS Columbus Annual Awards

WTS Columbus is seeking applications for our Annual Chapter Recognition Awards.  Winners of Columbus Awards are automatically eligible for the WTS International Awards of the same name.  We are accepting applications for the following Awards through Wednesay, January 2nd, 2013:

Member of the Year: Acknowledges a WTS member who has made extraordinary contributions to the success of the organization.

Woman of the Year: Honors a woman who is an outstanding role model in transportation.

Employer of the Year: Honors a business for their support of the goals and purpose of WTS.

Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award: Recognizes an innovator that is broadening their multi-cultural initiatives, changing corporate culture and philosophies.

Innovative Transportation Solutions Award: Salutes the creative work of an outstanding transportation project or service that improves the quality of life.
