Siemens Donates $10,000 to Support WTS Foundation and Women in Transportation

Siemens Mobility Division out of Sacramento, CA, has contributed $10,000 to the WTS Foundation for the advancement of women in the transportation industry. The selection of WTS Foundation to receive the generous, unrestricted gift is part of an enterprise-wide program at Siemens called “Caring Hands.”​

WTS Transportation YOU Summit Attracts More Young Women to Industry

Every year, a group of girls have a once in a life-time experience at the Transportation YOU DC Summit. This year, 18 girs embraced every opportunity to learn about the transportation industry in Washington DC last week. The Transportation YOU DC Youth Summit spanned five days and included a visit to USDOT to meet with some of the young women from various modes who have chosen transportation as a career, and a meeting with Victor Mendez, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation.​

APEC CEO Summit Says Dwindling Talent Pool May Put Global Infrastructure at Risk
