Women Business Owners Roundtable

 

The select group of leading women business owners in the transportation industry will share successful experiences and best practices and learn from others about starting and running a business in today's world.

The program, which will run concurrently with the 2020 WTS Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, will include the opportunity to interact with members of the 2020 WTS Executive Women's Roundtable. Sessions may cover topics such corporate value and ownership succession, improving profitability, and attracting and retaining staff.

When: Wednesday May 20, 2020
Schedule: 7:00am - 4:00pm Roundtable sessions (including breakfast and lunch) - followed by opening reception for the annual conference
Where: Arizona Biltmore, Phoenix, AZ
 
How to Apply 
To apply to join the 2020 WTS Women Business Owners Roundtable, please complete the online application by clicking  HERE. The deadline for application submission is Feburary 14, 2020. Only members that meet the criteria for the Roundtable will be considered. See below for criteria details.
 
Notification 
Applicants will be notified about their status regarding the 2020 WTS Women Business Owners Roundtable on or before March 6, 2020.

ROUNDTABLE APPLICANT CRITERIA  

Space in the 2020 Roundtable is limited to 25 qualified members.
To be considered for the 2020 WTS Women Business Owners Roundtable, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be a member of WTS.
2. Is a woman owner or a senior manager/partner of a business.
3. Has been in business for at least three years.
4. The Roundtable is intended for small to mid-sized companies.  A guide would be no more than 150 employees and no more than $15 million in gross annual revenue.
5. Has demonstrated a commitment to WTS and its objectives.
6. Reflects the diversity of the WTS International's membership in all respects.

The WTS members chosen to participate in the 2020 Women Business Owners Roundtable will reflect an effective, balanced level of participation by all segments of the WTS memberships including, but not limited to, geographic balance, business size, modal focus, and business sector segment.
Members from previous Roundtable sessions are eligible to apply to participate again in the 2020 sessions and it is anticipated that a portion of the 2020 selected participants will consist of previous participants as well as new members.
The Roundtable members selected will have skills and experience that will bring forward issues, concerns, and experiences that may enrich the continuity of the roundtable and enhance WTS International's membership.
