Region Councils

The importance of the Region Councils has become a critical link in our organizational structure. With 60 professional Chapters and 20 student Chapters, the International Board will rely more heavily on the connection with the Region Councils to remain aware of the progress and challenges occurring across WTS. Chapters are the organization’s most important local delivery channel. By developing and organizing into regions, the bandwidth of WTS Chapters is expanded. Members of these Councils are engaged and passionate about the Chapters they represent. The model is favorably received across the organization and it is another opportunity for WTS members to serve in a leadership role.

A 10-page Region Council Handbook has been developed to serve as a resource guide.
