WTS WNC RADTIP Tour

01:00 PM - 04:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited! Sign up now to secure your spot! The 2.2-mile RADTIP (River Arts District Transportation Improvement Project) serves as the spine of the city's multi-modal transportation network. Join us to learn more about it's planning and construction, as well as how it is being leveraged for a wide range of community goals from stormwater management and water quality improvements to affordable housing and community development, as well as private investment.

The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and include several stops to discuss and explore specific project locations. Additional topics will include community and local neighborhood connections; brownfield redevelopment; historic preservation; and public-private partnerships. The tour will be led by City of Asheville's Stephanie MonsonDahl, Strategic Development Director, and Dustin Clemens, Capital Project Program Manager - Innovation Districts.

We will apply for 1.5CM/PDH credits. This event is co-sponsored by NC-APA, French Broad River MPO, and Land of Sky Regional Council.

WHEN: June 6th, 2018 1-4pm. Tour will last from 1-2:30pm, followed by discussion and socializing at the New Belgium Brewery Liquid Lounge.

WHERE: The tour will depart from the gravel parking lot at the corner of Hazel Mill Rd and Craven St, across from the new French Broad River Greenway West Bank trailhead next to New Belgium Brewing.

HOW (Updated): We will be using a Gray Line Trolley so space is limited to 30 people. Make sure to reserve your spot!

NOTE: If you are a member, and not able to sign up at a member price, please contact Mary Roderick at mary@landofsky.org. We have designated fewer member tickets than non-member tickets, and can adjust to accomodate you.

REFUND Policy: No refunds for this event; however, if you are unable to attend we will credit you for a future Lunch&Learn or tour.
