Please join the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Wisconsin Chapter for a tour of the Crash Lab in the Neurosurgery Research Laboratories at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a chance to network with fellow professionals.

The Neurosurgery Research Laboratories at The Medical College of Wisconsin combine industry-focused testing with innovative research expertise to provide comprehensive analyses of occupant safety and protection systems. This tour will include the Vehicle Crashworthiness Laboratory, Horizontal Acceleration Sled, and Component Testing Systems. This facility is equipped and staffed for frontal- and side-impact NCAP, IIHS, TWG, and FMVSS assessments. Features of the crash laboratory include climate controlled ATD calibration laboratory, FMVSS No. 301 Rollover Device, nineteen impactcapable high-speed video cameras, state-of-the-art lighting system, in-house machine shop, custom designed flying floor, and ability to collect over 200 channels of data.
For those interested, there will be in informal social gathering for food and drinks after the tour.
