Esther is Executive Vice President and the first female member of the Board of Directors at Gannett Fleming. As the Director of MidAtlantic Region, she is responsible for all facets of operations including business development, client relations, project performance, project principal oversight, and adherence to the firm’s ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System on all projects.

In 2017, Esther co-founded Connected Women at Gannett Fleming™, an award-winning employee resource group with a mission to create a culture that empowers, supports, and mentors women to achieve career and personal success at Gannett Fleming. Now in its second year, Connected Women has more than 70 Connected Ambassadors around the globe, uniting female employees across operations. Esther also chairs the Gannett Fleming Charitable Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization that supports employees affected by major disasters and is an inaugural member of Gannett Fleming Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee.

Esther started with Gannett Fleming in 1995 and served in numerous, progressive roles including Department Manager, Regional Office Manager, and Regional Director. During 2002-2003 she served as president for American Society of Highway Engineers Delaware Section. In 2004 Esther was a recipient of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business. She has unparalleled experience in project development and has been a long proponent of planners, engineers and environmental scientists working together with communities to avoid and minimize impacts.
