WTS-MN Cedar Lake-Lake of the Isles Master Plan Trail Walk

Please join us for a family and pet friendly trail walk highlighting Cedar Lake-Lake of the Isles! Light snacks and beverages will be provided and we will start and end at the Kenwood Park Playground which is a great spot for kids to enjoy!
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's (MPRB) Cedar Lake-Lake of the Isles Master Plan process has been ongoing since 2019 and is finally nearing its completion. The MPRP published its draft in January and wrapped up a 45-day public comment period March 10. The final plan will be presented to MPRB Commissioners this spring or summer.
Join WTS MN and MPRB on a walking tour of Lake of the Isles to hear about the community input received and the Circulation and Access recommendations made by the project's Community Advisory Committee during Summer 2022. The tour will be ~one mile at a leisurely pace.

Member/Public Agency Partner: $5 per family
Non-member: $10 per family
Student: Free

Emma Pachuta (she/her), Senior Planner at the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board

Emma Pachuta joined the strategic planning team in 2019. Prior to MPRB, she spent over 10 years working in the private and non-profit sectors with a focus on elevating underrepresented voices in urban planning projects and decision-making. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon.
The WTS Public Agency Partner program is designed to encourage public agency employee participation at WTS events. MnDOT, Metro Transit/Met Council, and Washington County are the current WTS Minnesota public agency partners, and their employees are welcome to register for WTS Minnesota events for the same cost as general members.
