WTS Colorado Transportation YOU Committee Presents the Girl Scouts Street Smarts Day

Join us for a "Street Smarts" Day as we take you on a multi-modal tour through downtown Denver. Learn how transportation affects our urban environment and how it links communities by visiting various stations in downtown Denver that highlight transportation elements, including ADA, bikes, transit and bridges.

 

The Transportation YOU Committee hosts a “Street Smarts” Day every year for 4th/5th grade

aged Girl Scouts. The Girl Scouts are taken on a multi-modal tour through downtown Denver.

The Girl Scouts learn how transportation affects our urban environment and how it links

communities by visiting various stations in downtown Denver that highlight transportation

elements, including ADA, bikes, transit, and bridges.

 

The tour begins andends at the I-25 and Broadway Light Rail Station.

 
Saturday, Sept. 23
 Tour begins at 8:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
 
I-25 and Broadway Light Rail Station 
901 S. Broadway, Denver, CO
 
Lunch will be provided. The entire tour is outdoors, please dress appropriately.
