WTS-Boston April Luncheon

Thursday, April 12, 2012

“Moving the Needle – Mode Shift in Massachusetts: Increasing Choices for Healthy & Economically Sustainable Mobility”

Guest Speakers
Catherine Cagle, MBA, LEED AP, RLA

MassDOT, Manager of Sustainable Transportation

Nicole Freedman

City of Boston, Director of Bicycle Programs

In celebration of Earth Day, please join us to learn about mode shift in Massachusetts. Ms. Cagle will share MassDOT’s statewide plan and goals.  MassDOT's GreenDOT policy serves as a clear 'call to action' for all transportation partners and professionals.  To further advance the GreenDOT vision, MassDOT will be establishing a statewide mode shift goal.  Ms. Freedman will share Mayor Menino’s plan to increase cycling in the City of Boston and provide an update on the Hubway System.  Attend this luncheon and be prepared to ask yourself, “What can I do to advance GreenDOT and City of Boston goals and inspire mode shift to promote healthy and economically sustainable mobility choices?”
