To celebrate Women’s History Month, WTS Central Virginia presents:
WOMEN MAKING HISTORY: Insights from Women Transportation Executives
In this virtual meeting, two prominent Virginia transportation executives will share their reflections on leadership: ANNA BONET, CEO of Elizabeth River Crossings and KATHLEEN LINEHAN, President of Alpha Corporation. In addition to a live panel discussion with these extraordinary women, our program will showcase brief pre-recorded insights on leadership by other equally inspiring women executives.
This virtual event will take place on Zoom. Meeting links will be provided to registrants prior to the event. Registration is FREE for members and $15 for non-members. Anna Bonet
CEO, Elizabeth River Crossings
Anna Bonet is the CEO of Elizabeth River Crossings, Abertis’ first US-based holding that finances, delivers, operates and maintains the Elizabeth River Crossings facilities from Norfolk to Portsmouth, including the Downtown/Midtown Tunnels and the MLK Freeway extension. Previously, as the CEO of Autopistas España, she led the operations and maintenance of nearly 1,000 miles of roadway across eight concessions throughout Spain, the acquisition of Túneles de Barcelona y Cadi, the introduction of the Bip & Drive toll tag and mobility services company, and the launch of the AWAI payment app. In 2018 and 2019, Anna was included in the Spain-based Choiseul ranking of "100 Future Economic Leaders Under 42" and has been nominated twice for the "Top 100 Women Leaders" in Spain.

Kathleen Linehan
President, Alpha Corporation
Kathleen Linehan, President of Alpha Corporation, oversees the operations of multiple offices within the U.S. and provides management and technical advisory consultations on heavy infrastructure projects. She has over 30 years’ experience in engineering design and construction management. Previously, Kathleen was the Chief Engineer for DDOT and managed a $400M Capital Program that encompassed project programming, design, construction, asset management, traffic engineering and stormwater management for projects such as the South Capitol Street corridor, Nationals Ballpark Streets, 11th St. Bridge and Pennsylvania Avenue. Kathleen currently sits on the Executive Board of the Federal City Council and serves as a Director for the Anacostia Watershed Society.
