Women in Transport - Good for Business

The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) & WTS London are holding a parliamentary breakfast reception for invited guests only, hosted by Louise Ellman MP, at the House of Commons, Westminster.
The breakfast meeting will be hosted by Louise Ellman MP and the event will provide a forum for discussion which will focus on finding practical ways to:

Engage business leaders and share best practice to support women in the transport industry

Maximise this crucial resource effectively in the business environment

Highlight the successful role played by women in the transport sector
Guests will have the opportunity to share their experiences with other influential representatives from the engineering and transportation industry, politics, and the public sector.
The speakers are:

Baroness Margaret Prosser OBE who served as Deputy Chair of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights for six years

Lord Tony Berkeley who is chairman of the Rail Freight Group, the representative body of the UK rail freight industry, and also a Board member and past President of the European Rail Freight Association.

Trudy Norris-Grey – Chair of the Women into Science, Engineering and Construction (WISE)
