A Little Hoovering Goes a Long Way in Streamlining California Transportation

Last April, the Little Hoover Commission recommended reorganizing state agencies, forming the new California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) to focus on California transportation and policy. Governor Brown selected California transportation stalwart Brian P. Kelly to head the CalSTA. Routinely listed in Capitol Weekly's "Top 100 List" of major players in California politics, Kelly served previously as Acting Secretary of the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency, where he helped direct its reorganization. WTS-LA welcomes him to present his vision for the CalSTA and California transportation.
