In 2012, Frequent Business Traveler named SFO the Best Airport in the Americas and Skytrax awarded it with the Best Airport Staff in North America for outstanding customer service. Please join SFO leadership and staff to hear about the Airport, how it is funded, the various project delivery methods utilized, and its $4.1 Billion Capital Program over the next 10-15 years. The event will be held in the SFO Aviation Museum, the first cultural institution of its kind located within a major airport.

Directions to the Aviation Museum are below, but if in need of direction assistance, call 650-821-9900 

Directions from the Airport BART Station to the Aviation Museum

  • Take BART to the SFO station. Upon exiting the train, enter the International Terminal through the glass doors straight ahead of you.
  • Walk past the exhibition display cases on your right; then turn right and walk to the opposite side of the Terminal to Gates A1-A12
  • As you reach the other side, at security for Gates A1-12, turn left to the small corridor leading to Virgin Atlantic’s First Class Lounge. The Museum is immediately past the lounge – look for the blue Pan Am globe in the Museum window. 

Parking Directions and Directions to Aviation Museum

  • From 101, take the San Francisco International Airport exit to the International Terminal Departures Level and follow the signs to International Parking Garage Hourly Parking (on your right), then Parking Garage ‘A’.
  • Go to Level 8 of the Garage and park anywhere near the AirTrain Station
  • BRING PARKING TICKET TO THE EVENT FOR VALIDATION
  • Take the AirTrain Blue Line to the International Terminal A (the next stop), exit the train and turn right, then take the escalator down one level to the Departure Level.
  • Turn right as you get off the escalator. There will be a small corridor directly in front of you that leads to the Virgin Atlantic Lounge. The Museum is immediately past the Lounge – look for the blue Pan Am globe in the Museum window.
