Raising Employee Morale and Elevating Professional Standards

05:30 PM - 08:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Hall of States Room 383/385
444 North Capitol Street Northwest
Washington, DC , 22201

Come join WTS for a FANTASTIC opportunity to hear John Porcari, former US Deputy Secretary of Transportation, talk to professionals of all ages about his drive to elevate the USDOT from last to 8th place on the Partnership for Public Service's Best Places to Work in Federal Government.

While at US DOT, John Porcari served as the chief operating officer with responsibility for day-to-day operations of the 10 modal administrations and the work of more than 55,000 DOT employees nationwide and overseas.  John Porcari focused on transportation’s key role in economic development and providing the foundation for America’s future prosperity.

John Porcari is the senior vice president and national director of strategic consulting at Parsons Brinckerhoff. As the head of Parsons Brinckerhoff’s strategic consulting group, he guides the firm’s efforts to integrate technical expertise with the strategic thinking needed by owners, developers, and operators of transportation infrastructure to solve critical business and operational problems and establish the foundation for successful delivery of programs and projects.

This event will be interactive; take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and participate in a meaningful discussion with John Porcari.
