Port of Vancouver USA Presentation with Members-Only Tour

11:30 AM - 01:00 PM Pacific Standard Time

Please join WTS Member and Port of Vancouver USA Director of Economic Development, Katy Brooks for a brown-bag lunch presentation (open to WTS members and non-members), followed by a WTS Members-Only behind the scenes tour of the Port. Tour is open to the first 10 members that sign up, so register early!

The Port of Vancouver USA is home to two mobile harbor cranes capable of lifting 140 metric tons each, five marine terminals, is a west coast port-of-entry for Subaru , and 2,300 people go to work at the port each day. The port moved five million tons of cargo last year with top trading partners including China, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Europe and South America.

The port also is home to more than 50 industrial tenants that vary from panel manufacturing to electronics recycling and small batch beer malt distribution; and the port is completing its largest transportation improvement effort in its 100-year history -a $275 million rail improvement project. Sound interesting? Come to this exciting presentation and tour of the port to learn more. Government-issued photo ID is required for the tour portion - this can be a driver's license, passport, or military ID.

Please contact Irina Leschuk (DL Design Group, Inc.) at iml@dleng.net or at 503-644-4628 with questions about this event. Register Here
