November Luncheon Program

12:15 PM - 02:15 PM Eastern Standard Time

Join us for a panel discussion with the leaders of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, McHenry and Will Counties.

WTS Greater Chicago is proud to bring together the transportation agency leaders of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, McHenry and Will counties for a panel discussion on each county’s unique transportation challenges and how the region can work together to achieve an improved transportation network. Each county faces similar, but distinct, challenges related to mobility, congestion, livability and funding. Providing a framework for addressing some of these challenges is CMAP’s GO TO 2040 plan, which is the first comprehensive regional plan for metropolitan Chicago in more than 100 years. The panel will be moderated by Randy Blankenhorn, Executive Director of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, who brings his regional perspective to the discussion.

The following panelists will discuss transportation plans in each of their counties and how they integrate within the regional framework:
John Yonan - Cook County
Christopher Snyder - DuPage County
Paula Trigg - Lake County
Carl Schoedel - Kane County
Joe Korpalski - McHenry County
Bruce Gould - Will County
