New Monies and What's In It

05:30 PM - 07:30 PM Pacific Standard Time

Scott's Seafood Restaurant
2 Broadway
Oakland, CA , 94607

Last fall’s elections and the state budget gifted new money sources to finance the construction, operation and maintenance of Bay Area public transportation systems.  Demographic and economic trends (increasing urbanization, changing consumer preferences, aging population,  increasing health and environmental concerns, etc.) are causing extreme overloads on streets and highways as well as a growing demand for alternative modes to navigate our region. WTS SF Bay Area is holding a panel discussion for our general membership on February 10th that might unlock the keys to understanding these new funding pots that voters and the governor have offered our transportation communities  including Measure BB, SF's Proposition A, Cap and Trade monies.  Register today for what will prove to be an informative evening. Dinner will be provided.

Mark Green - former Mayor of Union City, former Chairman of the Alameda County Transportation Commission and a Past President of the Association of Bay Area Governments
