MassDOT - Road Safety Audits

12:00 PM - 01:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Join us on Tuesday, June 20th for a free brown bag seminar on Road Safety Audits presented by MassDOT's Michelle Deng.

MassDOT requires a Road Safety Audit (RSA) for high crash locations as part of the project development process.  RSAs are one of many tools used to help reduce the number and severity of motor vehicle crashes throughout the Commonwealth. The goal of an RSA is to identify safety issues contributing to a specific location’s crash trends and develop potential enhancements that could improve safety for all roadway users. During the 10 year history of conducting over 300 RSAs, MassDOT has refined the process. This session will explain the current MassDOT RSA procedures and provide helpful tips for a successful RSA.
