Greater D/FW Chapter: 2017 Spring Professional Development Event

Please join us for our next professional development workshop. Hear from local transportation leaders as they discuss their careers, challenges faced as women leaders, successes and lessons learned.

Laura Weis, PE, AECOM: Laura is Transportation Operations Manager, responsible for the day-to-operations of the offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso. She works on marketing and proposals, staffing and workload and training.

Elizabeth Mow, PE, NTTA: Elizabeth leads the project delivery, maintenance, and system and incident management departments, all in support of the planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of the NTTA's 950 miles of toll roads.

Stephanie Halliday, PE, HNTB: Stephanie, a Vice President in the Plano office of HNTB, currently serves as project director for the North Texas Tollway Authority's (NTTA) Program Management Consultant (PMC) contract.

Dana Burghdoff, AICP, City of Fort Worth: Dana is the Assistant Planning and Development Director for the City of Fort Worth. The Planning Division that she oversees provides information and advice to City officials and community leaders in making decisions about growth and development.


Brittney Farr, Esq., DART: Brittney serves as the Local and Regional Relations Manager for DART. She also helps to coordinate all of DART's ongoing human trafficking prevention activities and training.
