Google New York Recognizes International Women's Day

06:00 PM - 09:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

Google New York Recognizes International Women's Day

Google New York Recognizes International Women's Day Month!

Google's technology gets better when we have a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures included. We strive to create the most inclusive workforce on the planet, and by encouraging our Googlers to be themselves and supporting them in their interests and passions, we’re able to do cool things that matter. International Women's Day, recognized on March 8th, is a celebration of women's economic, political and social achievements. This is a special day for Google because of the incredible contributions women have made to technology -- from Ada Lovelace to Anita Borg, so we've decided to stretch the celebration for the entire month!

Throughout March, we've been hosting events in recognition of women's achievements at our offices around the country, and look forward to welcoming members of the New York community to our local celebration on March 27th. In partnership with Society of Women Engineers (SWE) NYC and Girl Geek Dinner NYC, this event will feature speakers on a variety of topics, followed by networking. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.
