Join WTS - NC Triangle Chapter for our February Luncheon to Celebrate our Local Scholarship Winners!

WTS NC Triangle Chapter is pleased to announce our 2012 Transportation Scholarship Winners:

Please join us to celebrate and award these extraordinary womenat a luncheon on February 28, 2013, with a special guest speaker, Mayor McFarlane.

 

WTS NC Triangle awards yearly scholarships to women pressuring pursuing careers in Transportation locally and nationally. WTS wants to commemorate our WTS NC Triangle Scholarship winners and the efforts of supporting STEM with a special luncheon.  NC Triangle has been supporting STEM by hosting a yearlong mentor program for young girls called “Transportation YOU” along with partnering with NCDOT to host an event called “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” for high school girls. We hope you will join us in celebrating the importance of higher education.

 

 

Special guest speaker, City of Raleigh Mayor, Nancy McFarlane will speak on the state of transportation in the Raleigh area along with the importance of STEM Education, volunteerism and advancing women professionally. We hope you will join us in celebrating the importance of higher education.
